Before you invest in a wedding photographer, you will have a whole heap of questions that you will want answers to, so we have put together a few of the usual suspects below for you to browse through and hopefully get your answers. If you do not then get in touch and we will get right back to you

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

It's advisable to book your wedding photographer as soon as you have your wedding date and venue secured, ideally 9-12 months in advance for popular wedding dates.

What should I consider when choosing a wedding photographer?

Look for a photographer whose style aligns with your vision, review their portfolio, read reviews, and meet with them to ensure a good personality fit

Do you offer engagement sessions in your packages?

We include an engagement/connection shoot in all our packages. It's too early to to commit to a photographer, then yes we do Engagement shoots. £150 will get you a 1 hour shoot and the images will be yours to keep. Go on to book us for the big day and you will get the money off your wedding day booking.

How many hours of coverage do we need for our wedding?

The number of hours needed depends on the size and complexity of your wedding. A full-day package typically covers approximately 10 hours. Not going to need us for the entirety of the day, then obviously it isn’t going to cost the same. Get in touch with your specifics and we will be happy to quote.

Can we provide a shot list or specific photo requests?

Yes, we welcome shot lists and specific requests. But rest assured that your day will be covered in full and we are ready and keen to capture special moments as they arise.

What's your turnaround time for delivering wedding photos?

Turnaround times vary but typically range from 4 to 8 weeks. Some photographers offer expedited services for an additional fee.

Do we get the rights to our wedding photos?

As the photographer, the rights remain with me. But don’t worry you have a licence to print wherever you like and share as often as you may want to (we love it when you do!)

How many photos can we expect to receive from our wedding day?

The number of photos varies, but you can expect to receive several hundred edited images in your final gallery.

What's your backup plan in case of equipment failure or emergencies?

So I have two cameras on me at all times. These each shoot to two memory cards, so even in the event of something failing, I will still have the ability to capture your day and have the reassurance that all images are at all times from the point of capture saved in multiple locations.

Are you familiar with our wedding venue?

Maybe… but you can be assured if the venue is not somewhere I have been before, I will take the time to get to know it.

Do you offer wedding album services?

Of course. You will have the ability to do so through your galleries connected print store, but if you want us to do this for you, then we do offer an album-building service

What's your cancellation and refund policy?

We ask for a 25% deposit. This will get you booked in for the day. We will retain this deposit in the event of you cancelling. However, get in touch a.s.a.p. if you do need to cancel and we will look at what we can do to help

Can we request specific editing styles or preferences?

You can request, but for the most part, we will kindly decline depending on the request. Would you ask Monet or Picasso to do it differently???

How do you handle family and group photos during the wedding day?

We will get together closer to your wedding day and review the timeline. We will make time in the day for group photos and then discuss which members of the wedding party can assist in wrangling everyone together.
